Attention all 6th Grade Students and Parents of 6th Grade Students:
For the 2012-2013 school year, State law now requires that all incoming 7th grader students receive a whooping cough booster shot, called Tdap, before entering school. Students who have not received this booster shot prior to the beginning of the school year will not be allowed to attend school. Please contact your School Nurse with any questions and for resources for vaccination. View more information here

Kindergarten registration for all schools in the Yuba City Unified School District has been set to begin Monday, March 5, 2012. Students must be five years of age on or before November 1, 2012. Parents will need to provide proof of residency that they reside in that school’s attendance area, birth certificate, and immunization records for their child. Please contact your neighborhood school if you have any questions.

Trustee Area Boundary Maps CA Election Codes Sections 14025 to 14032 require that school districts review census data every ten years. That review process includes the study of a) proportional representation and b) demographic analysis for verification that the existing voting model creates no impairment on the ability of any protected class to elect candidates of its choice or its ability to influence the outcome of the election.

Application Period to complete inter/intra district transfers for YCUSD:
Yuba City Unified School District will start accepting inter/intra transfers for the 2012-2013 school year November 15,2011 through January 30,2012. Transfer request can be
obtained at the District Office located at 750 Palora Avenue, Yuba City or on the YCUSD website, at the bottom of the Registration Information page.
All completed forms are to be returned to the District Office. For further information, call
the office of Student Welfare and Attendance at 822-7641.
