The River Valley High School Art Department would like to cordially invite you to our Student Art Exhibit at the Sutter Museum, 1333 Butte House Rd. The reception is this Friday from 5 - 7 pm. There will be music and refreshments served, and it is free to the public. Student artwork will be on display Feb. 24th through March 16th. Museum hours are: Tues.-Fri., 9 -5pm and Sat/Sun, 12 - 4pm. We hope to see you there!

Kindergarten registration for all schools in the Yuba City Unified School District has been set to begin Monday, March 5, 2012. Students must be five years of age on or before November 1, 2012. Parents will need to provide proof of residency that they reside in that school’s attendance area, birth certificate, and immunization records for their child. Please contact your neighborhood school if you have any questions.

The Shady Creek Outdoor Education Foundation would like to invite you to the 3rd annual EVENING IN THE FOREST WINE AND ART RECEPTION.
An Evening in the Forest wine and art reception will take place on Saturday, March 10, from 6:30 – 10:00 pm at Franklin Hall - Yuba Sutter Fairgrounds. This will be an exceptional and unique evening that includes wine tasting from local wineries, heavy hors d’oeuvres and gourmet desserts. The live and silent auctions will feature a wide variety of unique items donated by area supporters. We will have a variety of entertainers/artists for our guest’s enjoyment.

Trustee Area Boundary Maps CA Election Codes Sections 14025 to 14032 require that school districts review census data every ten years. That review process includes the study of a) proportional representation and b) demographic analysis for verification that the existing voting model creates no impairment on the ability of any protected class to elect candidates of its choice or its ability to influence the outcome of the election.

Application Period to complete inter/intra district transfers for YCUSD:
Yuba City Unified School District will start accepting inter/intra transfers for the 2012-2013 school year November 15,2011 through January 30,2012. Transfer request can be
obtained at the District Office located at 750 Palora Avenue, Yuba City or on the YCUSD website, at the bottom of the Registration Information page.
All completed forms are to be returned to the District Office. For further information, call
the office of Student Welfare and Attendance at 822-7641.
