Butte Vista After School Program
2012-2013 Enrollment & Family Night
Thursday, May 10th, 2012
In the Quad from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Everyone is invited to attend!
This is a great opportunity to meet & talk with the After School Staff and enroll your children for next school year! This will be your first chance to enroll your children for next year’s program. Please remember that our program is on a first come, first serve policy. As each grade level reaches full capacity, a waitlist will be formed. You must have an enrollment complete and turned in to be on the waitlist. Enrolling after this date will most likely result in your child being placed on a waitlist so don’t delay!!
Activities included in this event:
- Free Spring Make & Take Art Activities!
- Fun Games & Cool Prizes!
- Photo Booth for a quick Spring Picture! $3.00
- Noah’s Ark Stuff & Fluff Animal Workshop $12.00 per Animal
- Face Painting $1.00
- Portrait Sketching $15.00 for first sketch & $10.00 for additional sketch for child in same family
- We will also be selling refreshments, food, and baked goodies
There will be a prize drawing for seven uniquely themed baskets.
Basket themes include: Family Game Night, Baking, Picnic, Movie Night, Scrapbooking, Relaxation, and Summer baskets.
*All proceeds from the prize drawing & food sales will support the After School Leadership Team’s community service projects.*

Parent Club Meetings are on the 4th Monday of the month at 6pm.
Site Council Meetings are on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 4pm.
Our school schedule may be found on the Attendance page of this site, under "Daily School Schedule." A printer friendly version of the schedule has been added, which offers our regular, rainy and minimum day schedules on one page. Print one for the car, home or office as a quick reference.

Thank you for your support in giving our eighth graders a celebration to remember!
**Please remember students must meet promotion requirements to participate in these events as discussed at the beginning of the school year. If you have any questions about these requirements, please contact us at 822-5034.

Dear Parents:
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year at Butte Vista School. I would like to introduce myself to all new families:
My name is Jas Peterson, and this is
my eleventh year as the Principal. Our Assistant Principal, Jeanne Hendricks,
is beginning her second year. We believe each year
is another exciting endeavor as we set out to design the most effective and positive learning environments for all students. The staff and I strongly believe in collaborating with all stakeholders to provide the optimal environment for students. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. We like to make ourselves readily available to students and parents. Our first priority is student success!
We were fortunate this year to not experience any staff lay-offs. However, we do have a few changes to announce:
