Welcome to Lincoln Elementary Our mission is to promote a lifelong love of learning that is reflected in students' performance, self-esteem, and citizenship.
Wear Red Every Friday
Show your school spirit! Every Friday is “Wear Red Day”. We encourage all
students to wear red or your Spirit Wear!
Order forms for Spirit Wear can be found in
the office or on the back of most of the
newsletters.
Student Safety
Student safety is an ongoing concern for all
of us at Lincoln School. Parents please
remember the importance of observing
safety procedures at school. Also be very
careful when picking up or delivering your
children. It is important that the posted
directions and painted curbs are heeded. All
students and parents must cross the streets at
the corner crosswalk. It is extremely
important that both students and adults obey
the directions of the crossing guard. Our
students’ safety must be a top priority for
everyone. For your child’s sake, we
appreciate your patience and help during
student drop off and pick up times.
Student Attendance
If your child is absent from school, please
notify the school by leaving a message on
the answering machine stating the child’s
name, room number and reason for absence.
You must write a note or call the school
office when your child is absent. Please call
by 10:00 a.m. If your child arrives at school
after the starting time, he/she must check in
with the office. More information may be found under the ATTENDANCE Link in the navigation area above.
Campus Visitors
ALL visitors must sign in at the front office
and receive a Visitor's Pass before going on
campus or visiting classes.
Improve Parental Involvement
with Renaissance Home Connect
With the new Renaissance Home Connect, you can stay involved by linking the school and home to make personalized reading practice even more effective. By logging on from their home computer, students and parents can:
View number of books read, words read,
and quizzes passed.
And much, much more.
In a data-driven, decision-making framework, such as Response to Intervention, parental involvement is especially essential, and documenting communication with parents is vital in Tier 2 and beyond. Renaissance Home Connect involves parents by providing a direct link to what students are working on at school.
