Welcome to our website YCHS Staff and Students!

YCHS students must have a valid and appropriate email address and a log on to Parent Connect in order to register for classes for the 2012-2013 school year. Counselors will be assisting with registration beginning in late January.

Are you an athlete who plans on playing sports in college? Then you must become NCAA eligible while in high school. Check out this NCAA Guide for College Bound Athletes. If you have questions about NCAA eligiblity, please see your counselor.

SAT/ACT Most colleges that require SAT or ACT scores will need your scores by the end of December if you will be attending in Fall Semester. If you haven’t chosen which schools will receive your scores now is the time to choose. Log in to your CollegeBoard account and submit your scores today! CSF Semester Membership Application
The spring CSF application window is
January 16 through February 14, 2012.
CSF applications for the spring semester
are available in Rm. 409, Principal’s office, and the Counseling Office. Please pay your $5 membership dues to the student store. Then, staple together your completed application, a copy of last semesters grades and dues receipt and return to Mrs. Damon in room 409, no one else. The deadline is Friday, February 14, 2011 by 3:15 pm. (No Exceptions - in accordance with CSF's State Bylaws).

Yuba City High School counselors will meet with current 8th grade students and their families (See schedule below) to discuss an overview of high school life and activities, the student’s program and to finalize course selections for the 2012-2013 school year. At these meetings students and parents will review high school requirements, college entrance requirements, clubs/organizations on campus, the student’s performance on achievement tests, grades and their student’s preliminary high school course selections.

CSF - Seymour Memorial Award
Applications are now being accepted for California Scholarship Federation's Seymour Memorial Award. Yuba City High School may nominate 1 or 2 seniors who have qualified for CSF's sealbearer status and personify CSF's motto "Scholarship for Service." If you are interested in applying for this scholarship, please see Mrs. Damon in room 409 or email her at jdamon@ycusd.k12.ca.us. Applications must be postmarked no later than February 18, 2012.
